Losing a baby brought sadness and grief,
It made me question faith and motherhood for me.
Then against all odds came a boy who knew a family was about to grow,
Into places, through transitions and the unimaginable future we couldn’t know.
Then, I dreamed of a daughter and worried she wouldn’t make her way to me.
To my surprise it turns out she was waiting for just the right time for me to see.
That it is our children who are brought here to show and teach us,
Of all of the immeasurable and extraordinary ways we need to trust.
That in time they were always part of our plan He had for us above.
And in every moment they enter our lives, it’s our privilege and honor to wrap them with love.
To the children who bring me:
For choosing me in your time, for His purpose and for giving me the HONOR of forever being your “mama.”
Forever Yours Imperfect and Everything In Between
