Bring Grace to you!
Grace has 15 years of experience working within the human services field, ranging from prevention services with children at risk of compulsory placement, foster care, child advocacy services and family reunification planning. She has obtained her Bachelors in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice. Grace continued on to obtain her Masters in Social Work with a clinical concentration where she was provided with an opportunity to facilitate support groups both for a homeless shelter and psychiatric outpatient center. In 2009, Grace received training in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in an effort to provide alternative intervention approaches to individuals suffering from mental health and trauma.
Grace left the human services field after conceiving her first child to be at home full-time. In 2014, Grace was hired as a part-time Instructor at a community college where she teaches in the Life and Health Sciences Department. She teaches both human services and group counseling courses. The decision to chronicle her journey was inspired by the countless number of individuals, children, couples, families, professionals, students and community members she has had the privilege of working beside. Most importantly, she is a writer who recently created her own blog in the Fall of 2016 in an effort to resurrect the truth behind mothering honestly. Grace resides in the Mohawk Valley region with her three children.
Drawing from both her personal and professional experience, Grace is available for any business or speaking engagements. If you are interested in connecting, please subscribe and send an email to the following:
